Damn right I'm back on CL and I'll tell you why! I'm here to tell you that you can find a good person on CL....I did it.
What happened? She moved back east to take a job. We hadn't known each other that long and maybe if we had, I would have went with her or supported her here while she kept looking.
But I realized when I met her that I was so unhappy, and single all these years because I had come to accept a certain standard in women.
It wasn't even supposed to be a big deal either. I posted for someone to come share dinner and a movie with me at my house. She replied and thought it was just her speed for that evening. We exchanged pics and it was on.
The first thing you should know is what she did right: Everything!
She took a shower and the time to look cute. She was dressed in a cute outfit, but not slutty. I also took the time to look nice and bathe and stuff. I cleaned my bathroom and tried not to look like a slob.
She was chatty, flirty, not stuck-up in any way at all......Let me put that more clearly...SHE WAS NOT FUCKING STUCK UP IN ANY WAY AT ALL!!!!....Normally, the women I meet are so high and mighty if they're even slightly cute. She was more than slightly cute; not perfect but properly working what she had; and that's the key...EGO IN CHECK.......I can't stress this enough.
Anyhow; the chemistry was there..........So there, that I had to go take the steaks off the grill to be resumed later....We spent the whole night in bed.....wholesome, robust, full-scale, kick assed love making.
Now I'm in good shape; have always been athletic and never needed the little blue pills but I even astounded myself with my capacity for recovery when I was with her....Why? because she was into it, into me, and 100% giving. Very unlike most women I've met since I moved to California....I think I can say that most of you are waiting for someone to sweep you off your feet, pay for everything, and do everything for you because...........Why? I don't know how that happened.
In this country we're repeatedly told that there are more women than men...The U.S. census makes that claim too. Women complain they can't find a man....I'm no conspiracy theorist; but that's BULLSHIT!
Every where you go it's a sausage factory. Every club, bar, lounge; even the grocery store there are more men everywhere. There are far more available men than women, and all you have to do to see this clearly is visit a place like Australia who's menfolk were very nearly decimated in wars and still haven't made a comeback. There, you'll find women everywhere. They're charming, engaging, eager and non-egotistical....Why? There are fewer men, and the competition for men over there is more intense; there are a lot of single women in Australia.
If you took the suck-ass-attitude American women and dropped 'em off over there they'd be cat ladies and probably wind-up in their own leper colony within a few months; except that would make for even fewer women in this country and we don't want to go there because if we keep them here at least we can hope that the A-hole chicks will hook-up with the A-hole guys.

But anyways; I'm not moving to Australia. My point is that women here behave so badly because they can. There's always a better looking guy with more money, or a guy with more tattoo's. If you're halfway cute you can find a different guy to wine and dine you every night. If you have no job you can demand a financially secure guy and get one; and so on.
Enjoy it while you can....it will end, and your looks will be gone but the ego and attitude will remain, and you'll wonder even more how those girls you know managed to get those nice guys.....See above^
Now for those of you who were reading who have the qualities of my lost lover; you may be interested to know that I'm tall, fit, active, educated, not perfect and not looking for perfection. I'm looking for someone with open mind, heart, enthusiasm, not looking to be taken care of, and ego in check.
One last thought. If you think my friends behavior was slutty because it wasn't 20 minutes after we met that we were in bed you need to get a clue. We went with the moment. Going with our feelings instead of societal mores created by closet homo's in religious garb...I was there too so if she's a slut, I'm a slut.
Maybe you're afraid to do something like that? True, it could bite you in the ass but it's the women who make it clear that they're all about the money that we think of as whores; not the nice girls who ask only for what they'll give themselves. It's a gamble....You have to go with your heart; but the rewards are greater. You could find "The" guy.

Anyhow.....I'm single.
